"K" from last week, aka Click, claimed that she would never come to my blog again. Well, the massive amount of time she's spending here is interesting. Hmmm.
Second, another member is being added to my community. Go check out Broman and give him a NADH 'howdy'. He might regret this later on.
UPDATE: Just noticed Broman doesn't have comments, well, that sucks.
OH AND ANOTHER THING: Yesterday I got to speak on the phone with Ron. He has had so many changes in his life lately that the IM's and e-mails weren't good enough for me. I wanted to hear about all of his changes straight from his mouth. It was a nice conversation that lasted for about 40 minutes. Ron is exactly as expected, not a bad thing. So many of us feel real friendships here and it was so nice to speak to him voice to voice.
Stacy - I am techno-illiterate, so please bear with me. How do you know "K" is lurking around here???

Posted by: Valerie at October 5, 2005 03:47 PMSite meters. I have both Stat Counter and SiteMeter. I prefer SC. I keep both on just in case one goes down. Every comment made here I have an ISP address for (computer address)in my comment management section. I compare that ISP address to what I have in SC and can everytime someone has been here, how long they stayed, etc. It's really just spying on your own blog, but I wouldn't go without it. Now Blogger does not offer this with their comments, you have to use Haloscan. I wasn't fond of Haloscan either, that's part of the reason I moved over here, everything was neatly combined.
Posted by: Stacy at October 5, 2005 03:59 PMA web guru I'm not. My main objection to the meters I had seen before was that they seemed only to work if you publish to the world the headcount. I don't see such figures on your site, so I guess they give you reports without insisting on publishing to the world?
Posted by: Bill at October 5, 2005 04:14 PMCorrect Bill. I want my visitors to have some privacy when they come here. I've been to too many sites that allow everyone to see everything.
Posted by: Stacy at October 5, 2005 04:27 PMThat's great! I'm going to put it onto my web site, and probably my blog, too, when I get back to that... .

Posted by: Bill at October 5, 2005 04:29 PMEnough blog talk.
Why did you mention the conversation then say nothing about it? Has regular Ron finally passed his liberalism to it's watery destiny? Are you encouraging him to go ahead and flush?
Stacy, thank you for the kind wors my dear. It was a true pleasure to talk to you as well. Now, indeed I do consider you a "Real Friend".
And for the guy who called me Liberal??..What blog are you reading??..Me, liberal? You're speaking of a guy who thinks President Bush is a Watered down version of Jimmy Carter..Yes a Big Government, Big Spending Liberal. So get your facts straight before you start spewing again my friend.

Posted by: RegularRon at October 5, 2005 06:16 PMBWH-Ron is very far from being a liberal, he's a self-proclaimed libertarian. He and I agree on most issues. It's fun yanking his chain sometimes.
Posted by: Stacy at October 5, 2005 06:37 PMMy bad.
Ron I did a drive by on your sight and prejudicially associated you with someone else. There are a lot of political sights on the ‘sphere and I blow through them with extreme prejudice. Forgive me. I’ll leave you alone.
Stacy, I’m sorry and I will behave in the future.
Posted by: bigwhitehat at October 5, 2005 10:12 PMWell, if he'd put a darn picture up so we could see his mug that wouldn't happen.
Posted by: Stacy at October 5, 2005 11:21 PMStacy, some of us are allergic to cameras. The only place you'll find me around a camera is taking the pictures, not being in them. You'll never see a pic of me at the homestead. Besides, I was once told that if the All-Ugly team had co-captains, I'd be both of them.
