Now, many of you know about the little 'Vagina Monologue' thing. This has been an on going issue for about a month. That piece was written to a teenage girl, and the hate mail and negative comments I received were often irrational and implacable.
Cotillion's own Charmaine has posted an adult version of the same ideology that I loved. Go stop by and give it a read.
Ever wonder what we Cotillion gals talk about in our chat room? Cassandra at Villainous Company kept track one evening and wrote an interesting synopsis that it truly entertaining. In reading it I found several items of mine; perhaps I should start keeping my mouth shut. Some names have been changed in order to protect identities (snork).
And finally, my regular readers are aware of my concern for loved ones in the south. Thankfully they have all been accounted for and are just happy to be alive. The devastion of their homes will be difficult for them to handle in the coming days. My friend The Nightfly has placed links to organizations taking donations. If you feel so inclined to give please do. I know that for my husband and I personally, we are giving directly to our relatives. I'm hoping my aunt was itching for a new couch anyway.
Thanks for the time, and your concerns. Your comments and e-mails have been greatly appreciated. Love you all, even you Mr. NG.
