This past weekend on a local news station they did a segment on a local Arabic man who is participating in a class action lawsuit the ACLU has filed regarding racial profiling. This man is heavily scrutinized at airport security checkpoints and the airline companies closely examine his documents and him personally. Individuals with Middle Eastern names, physical features and destinations are more closely examined than others. Crybaby, crybaby, crybaby. Did you learn that liberalism here in the US or were you born with it? These people remind me of the kids that always ran to the teacher to tattle-tale. If the security of the country I resided in was threatened by 5'6" Caucasian women with long blonde hair, I would be more than happy to accommodate intense scrutiny. This is a much bigger concern than individual civil liberties, this is about global terrorism. There are times in history when sacrifices must be made in order to accomplish a greater good. So please, do a full body cavity search, tap my phones and investigate my finances. I'll even leave my curtains open at night so you can peek in and see what I'm up to; I have nothing to hide. The only ones that need to be concerned about the Patriot Act or any type of racial profiling are those who are actually guilty of something. Wimps.
