Wells folks, I am emotionally

Wells folks, I am emotionally spent. I spent the better part of my day in prayer and defending Terri Schiavo on other blogs. Simple facts: she is not brain dead, she can say some words, she laughs, she cries, she enjoys the company of her loved ones. With rehabilitation she can regain enough use of her brain and body to point her finger at Michael Schiavo and say "he's the asshole that caused my brain damage in the first place". Run, Michael, run. I am not going to say anything else about this at right now; I'm assuming that most of my readers are not ignorant about this case.

In order to lighten my spirit and yours I'm going to gripe about something that has caused me distress over the years. Just when I have found a jean that I'm happy with, they either discontinue it or alter it's cut. I have more of a, uh, hourglass shape, and finding jeans not made for fat teenagers is a difficult thing at this point in time.

This quest has taken me most everywhere. My latest ventures were trying out Old Navy and Eddie Bauer AGAIN!!! Old Navy tells me "well your a 4 but a six would work too". And the saleslady at Eddie Bauer placed me in a 4 and said "oh dear, those are too big, you'll need a 2 and unfortunately we don't carry 2's at this store". I AM NOT A FRICKIN' SIZE 2, WHAT IS UP WITH THAT? A size 2 was what I was in my young anorexic days as a teenager; I'm 36 and a mother of three, there is no way I'm a size 2.

MY SUGGESTION: Screw Congress investigating MLB for steroid abuse; I want to see a special session of Congress called to standardize jeans sizes. GEEEEEZZZZZZZ!!!!!!!

Sorry, I just wanted to vent about something utterly meaningless.
