All of my Terri comments

All of my Terri comments are in the post below. My regular readers know my feelings, and besides I just watched an episode of South Park that makes all of us look ridiculous about the Terri Schiavo thing. They worked hard on getting that episode put together and on the air real fast. Hmm. Now I'm going to do something I promised myself I would never do: share something entertaining from unplanned #3. Listening to parents relay child stories is often boring but hopefully we can end this day with a smile. Unplanned #3 continuously reminds me of why I love being a mom. I just found out that at his school before they are allowed to go out to recess after lunch, they must first eat all of their food. I think that this is absurd; we have a nation of obese children and they want to make them eat more. I also have a theory that the more you make a child eat of food they do no want to, that they will develop an aversion to that food later on in life. Anyway . . . I said "unplanned #3, that's not right. You know what you should do? Wrap up the food you don't want in your napkin and put it in the trash". He looked back at me and moved in close, and with a sly look said "mom, I actually put the food in my milk carton, it holds more". Children are so resourceful, I love it. Enjoy your night.
