I met Zach through the

I met Zach through the Picasa2/Hello support center. He is a soldier currently serving in Iraq, but he is not the soldier that most of us have heard as of late. Zach does not agree with the mission of the Bush Administration, but is still serving his country with honor. He has left his wife and children to serve our nation and was also one of the soldiers whose enlistment continued because of the back-door draft.

Although I don't agree with him on politics or policy, I think that it's important for every individual who believes in what we are doing in Iraq to read this letter that he wrote to his senator.

His letter and his blog made me consider the soldiers throughout history that have served their country honorably but did not agree with their commanders or the goals. What fortitude it must take for a person to do that.

Go visit him and let him know that you will be praying for him and his family, and that despite any differences we might have, that we are all still Americans and we will get through this.
