I've been so consumed by learning Spanish that I haven't been paying much attention to the news, national or local. I blogcrawled over to Bob's page and was somewhat embarrassed that he posted a Colorado story I knew nothing about. Thanks for letting me know what's happening in my own backyard. God bless this girl.
Amazing girl. My oldest daughter was in religion class a few months ago at her Catholic high school, and the topic was abortion. A couple of the kids were pretty adamant that it was a woman's "right to choose" whether or not to have an abortion. Of course, my daughter became quite upset, and blurted out "How can you say that?! If you think it's okay to kill a baby like that, then what you're saying is that my birth mom should have had the right to kill me. If that's the case, then you never would have had the chance to know me because I wouldn't be here right now!" Dead silence entered the classroom at that point. My daughter had made her point, and the discussion was ended right then and there.

Posted by: Paula at June 29, 2006 03:55 PMThanks for crossposting this Stacy. It is powerful when you put the human face on abortion as this young lady was able to do so well. That's why she got the reaction she did. Those politicians should have felt shame but rather were indignant for being confronted with the results of their handiwork.
Also, thanks for your other comment, I found it very informative! :)

Paula-not a choice, a child. How ignorant the pro-choicers really are.
