Happy Halloween

Having major computer issues again. I've ran 4 different scans on my computer and destroyed many items but I'm still having issues. We'll see what happens.

Anyway, enjoy your Halloween. I'm not one of those people who believes it's evil. To me it's about kids getting to dress up as something they're not and get free candy. I know, I know; "but the origins of Halloween Stacy, they're evil". We'll if you're going to be honest with yourself, research Christmas and Easter before Jesus came into the picture. I'm done, hope this post.

**Picture moved to extended entry; there's only so much of that image we can all handle**

Stacy, that was evil. It's going to days to get that picture out of my mind! ;-)

That picture gives new meaning to Trick or treat?

Posted by: civil truth at October 30, 2005 06:47 PM

You said I was going to love this. You were wrong! That is NAAAAAAAASTY.

Posted by: bigwhitehat at October 30, 2005 07:19 PM

Stacy, I agree Halloween is all about the kids.

As for your little photo shop of horrors, you are sick woman, sick, sick, sick. I find it extremely becoming. Have a great time tricking and treating!

Stacy, did Rosie O'Donnell give you permission to use her picture?

Posted by: Crazy Politico at October 30, 2005 09:21 PM

I agree with you, Stacy.

I think Halloween is taking a "bun" rap!

HA, Ha, ha, haaaaaaaaaaaaa

Unbelievable things:

1. That this person would do this to themselves.
2. That this person would allow themselves to be photographed.
3. That Stacy would be so cruel as to burn this image into our brains as we prepare to go trick-or-treating with our kids tonight.
4. That, for some strange reason, I feel a craving for pumpkin pie...

For those of you daring to entertain trick-or-treaters at home tonight, there is now available an Halloween Liability and Indemnity Agreement courtesy of The Center for Consumer Freedom (via RedState.org).

This agreement form, of course, is tongue-in-check. On the other hand, if present trends continue, how long will it be before such agreements become de rigeur? And what will that mean to Halloween?

I laugh when people talk about how evil Halloween is and they look at me funny. I say the same thing you do -- go see where the day we celebrate Easter and Christmas come from. And sit down while you do it.

Thanks for a great laugh!!!

That image did not make my day!

In fact, it is likely to be in my nightmares!

Posted by: Bill at October 31, 2005 06:57 PM

Oh, Stacy.

Stacy.

Please.

As my kids said when I showed it to them "Mom, that is GROSS".

How can I possibly ever look at a pumpkin in the same way ever again?

Posted by: Valerie at October 31, 2005 08:07 PM

I'll never eat pumpkin anything again...

Stacy, I couldn't leave you a good enough comment to let you know how this picture made me feel...so take a look at my last blog entry. (Heeheeee...)

BAAHAAAA!!!!!!!!! Nice to know what it takes to gross everyone out. When I showed my husband the picture he just sorry for the person who painted it. The look of disgust on his face was priceless. Computer problem solved, Direcway sucks. I'll expand tomorrow.

Very entertaining!!

I love the name of your blog and the bit about you. I'm all about saying it like it is and you do that plus being a conservative christian at the same time. Awesome!

Download and run Spybot at: http://www.spybot.info/
It's free...right click 'my computer' ...click 'open'...click 'properties' ...click 'clean disk'...(check mark temp-temp internet files-recycle bin-that's all) click 'OK'.
Next-click 'tools' ...click 'error checking-check now'-check both boxes in menu-click 'ok' -reboot and let the computer scan. It'll take a while.
Then click start- accessories- system tools- disk defragmenter. Make sure 'C' is checked- then click 'defragment.'

Afterward, turn computer off. Unplug the power cord and, while the computer is off, push in on the 'On' button and hold it in for thirty seconds then plug in the power cord and turn your computer back on.

If this doesn't make it run MUCH better, consider taking the cover off and, with a hair dryer on cool, blowing the dust out of it. (be sure to ground your hands on the metal frame and make sure there is no static electricity.)

This always works for me.
