There is much that I would like to post on today, but because of time constraints and attempting to distinguish between emotions and thoughts, I'm going to hold out for a short time on posting anything of real significance. First thing first, Happy Birthday to my mother, she is 67 today. She has been fighting terminal cancer for 3 1/2 years now and appears to not want to die, we are always teasing her about it. In the past 3 1/2 years I have known numerous individuals that have died, but she just keeps hanging on. I tell her "I've been waiting for you to drop but it's everyone else that's dying, what gives?" I love her, she's a good woman. Today's nothings: I have developed friendships, sort of, through blogging, many of you understand. One of my fellow bloggers stated in a comment once, "SYP, you know me". And yes, I do know him, very well; but I could be sitting next to him on the cross-town bus and the only indication that might would lead me to believe that it was him, was he and I making that rude "gchsh" sound at the same time witnessing the actions of others. It's intriguing, but yet sad. Some bloggers put their pictures up on their pages and I enjoy that. Being able to put a face with the words makes you feel that much more connected. I am thinking about doing it, but again, the computer challenged thing; we'll see what happens. The closest celebrity I have ever been told I look like was Avril Lavigne. Now, I'm not a fan of hers, so I was somewhat insulted. But when I told my husband he said, "yea, you do look like Avril Lavigne, just older".
