I've noticed over the years

I've noticed over the years that when I converse with men they will often present me with a verbal resume. I am not an evolutionists, not even a theistic evolutionists. I believe that God provided us with instinct and intelligence to survive and prosper in this world he created. Men with their hunter/gatherer/provider instincts, and women with their nurturer/nester/mediator instincts. This is why I think men feel the need to list their accolades when speaking to women, to prove that they have the necessary qualifications to be a woman's mate; it's quite entertaining. But I have a theory on Darwin I would like to share, half in jest, half in maybe. I can imagine the conversations he engaged in with the opposite sex. "I'm am an accomplished botanist, I have performed many great science experiments. I am highly intelligent and will be able to provide you with an excellent living." The woman's response would be "yea, but you look like an ape". So in order to combat his lack of a desirable appearance, he created the man from monkey theory, Evolution.
