First, I would like to

First, I would like to apologize to my blogging family. I am sorry for my limited presence here and on everyone else's blog. I was busy dealing with the Mushroom Cloud that appeared over my PC Saturday morning. I spent much of my weekend creating new wrinkles and possibly some gray hair.

I have much on my plate in the coming days but I will do my best to visit and attempt pithy and/or insightful posts. Unplanned #1's graduation is only a month away and I have done nothing to prepare for it. Additionally I must prepare our 2 1/2 acres for his party and that will leave me little time for the blogosphere.

I will do my best in communicating with you, many of you have become a part of my daily life and I feel that something is missing when we are not communicating.

There are a few things that I would like to throw my two-cents in on today.

The New Pope -- I am THRILLED that this man was chosen, THRILLED. The elites and the Europeans hate him so you know he's got to be good! My only issue with this man is his age. Forgive me for not knowing, I'm not Catholic, but why do they choose men who are so old and realistically won't be there for long? Ideally I think that it should be someone whose longevity is not questionable.

John Bolton -- This man needs to be named as our UN Ambassador. He will not function as a eunuch or a kiss-ass in the role. With all that we have learned about the UN as of late, we need an effective, opinionated leader in the position.

There's a new member in my community that I want all of you to go visit. She has a perspective that I enjoy and has a post up that I would like you to see. I should forewarn you though, keep a bucket handy.

So please bear with me, I oddly enough need all of you in my life. Is that pathetic? Not sure. And always remember . . .
