When Tom gets going, look

When Tom gets going, look out. If he hasn't blogged in a few days you're guaranteed a front-row seat to the Apocalypse. This posting of his reminded me of a recent trip to the mall. Unplanned No. 3 loves to go to the Build-A-Bear Workshop. As a reward or for a special occasion we will purchase a new outfit for his lion. The last time we were there No. 2 said VERY loudly and laughingly "hey look mom, it's hooker bear!". Just as I was getting ready to hang my head and think "good Lord, I can't believe he just said that in here", I thought instead "no, I'll hold my head high thank you very much". It was 'Hooker Bear', a bear dressed like a whore, there, in the Build-A-Bear Workshop. What a horrible example to set for little girls. Recognizing perversion and confronting it is something God wants from us, so No. 2 saying what he said was a recognition of a perversion. I hope all in the store heard him say it (how could they not of?).

Also Bob has a funny piece up that shows the current thinking of Europe with regards to France, this is a must read. And finally, An American Housewife has this posting up that shows once again where the ACLU stands. I need to forewarn you though, it's potentially blood-boiling.

UPDATE: Go to this new posting that I have on this story. My comments were lost due to me switching to Haloscan. There are some who are assuming things that they shouldn't. I never implied that the bear was labeled 'hooker bear' that was simply my 15 year-old sons perception of it.
