Greetings all!!! What a day

Greetings all!!! What a day we had yesterday; WOW! I spent the better amount of my allotted blogging time yesterday responding to e-mails and defending myself on the Southpaw side of the Blogosphere. The piece that Beth chose to display for me at the Cotillion was not the greatest. It was my own fault for being out of town and not submitting one more appropriate. So for those who have been coming by (and wow, lots of you) I would like to state my beliefs and what to anticipate from me.

First, my grammar will be poor. I chose not to take the 'Cornel West' approach to linguistics. I have been to those blogs, they receive NO TRAFFIC, plus they're boring as hell. I chose to speak to you on a simplistic level; there will be dangling participles, there will be double negatives, there will be slang. I am your neighbor, I am your friend, I am your co-worker. We will relate to one another on a casual basis.

I have evolved into a traditionalist during my almost 37 years on this planet. My ideology was once a bit liberal, but witnessing the consequences to myself and others that modern day liberalism has brought upon us has changed my mindset. This is why I chose to place my saying at the end of my more serious postings.

I am also anti-feminist. My little 'Misogyny' saying on my blog page is an inside joke between myself and a selected few of my readers. I will probably change it soon, but not because of what was said in Southpaw town. I just simply grow bored with what I put there and change it upon occasion. So don't assume that what was said about it was why I changed it.

I am a Christian, I am a happily married woman, I am the mother of three boys. Much of my blog has been about my experiences and what was learned from them. My hope for my blog was to reach out to women who were genuinely confused about our current social situations and how it has affects our ideologies and our futures.

Two of my heroes are Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Sojourner Truth; these are individuals that I hold deep admiration for. Their approaches to their situations were pure, without hatred and changed the thinking of our society for the better. We could all learn a lesson from their fights and the manner in which they approached them. If I could be 1/4 of the person that Sojourner Truth was, I personally would feel that my life was worthwhile.

I love to laugh and attempt to share that with you as much as possible. I truly believe that the humor we have in our home keeps us at peace and young at heart. So please continue to come by, leave your comments, whether they be good or bad; because all are welcome at my table.

p.s. I need to update my blogpage desperately, please be patient it will be later on in the week.
